The Harmony Hotel’s authenticity is inspired and infused by local culture.  We actively pursue new ways to weave ourselves into the fabric of our neighbourhoods. 

Our sojourners are people who enter a community of artists, healers, naturalists, performers, story tellers, and links to local culture, even farmers.  Each Harmony Hotel and everything we do inside them, reflects its Sense of Place and History.  

The surrounding culture is supportive when its authenticity is embraced. Cultural Authenticity determines cultural intelligence. Culture intelligence is the idea that culture is made up of cultural systems which innately have their own intelligence and functionally. In other words, the culture is the expert on itself and can be instructive and a resource when comparisons are drawn.
