TRANSFORMING HOSPITALITY THROUGH AUTHENTICITY
I am a Sojourner — more than a traveler or client. I am a conscious participant on a temporary, yet transformational journey. My purpose is not simply to visit, but to immerse, absorb, and evolve. Through ecological, biological, and psychological nourishment, I, the Sojourner, walk a path of deep connection — with myself, with community, with nature, and with the greater Oneness of life.
My journey unfolds through three guiding experiences:
Healing
As a Sojourner, I engage with spaces intentionally designed to restore body, mind, and spirit — drawing from indigenous wisdom, local wellness practices, and nature’s inherent healing intelligence.
Power of Place
I seek to be invited into deep engagement with each land’s unique culture, history, and ecology — cultivating meaningful connections and expanding my understanding through immersive, place-based learning.
Authenticity
My journey honors living cultures. Through authentic, reciprocal engagement with community and environment, I participate in shared healing, purposeful transformation, and a meaningful way of living.

The Experience:
THE POWER
OF PLACE

THE POWER OF PLACE
The permaculture of all living forms, the heavens above, the ground beneath our feet, and the history it contains are channeled for wellbeing.
SENSE OF PURPOSE
In-Room Orientation and registration replace the typical front desk check/in experience with a more personable experience. It is also the start for understanding the Sense of Purpose for travelers.
ART IN LIFE
To attain art's inspirational and healing role in life, a curated body of fine art — visual, audial (& performing) — is commissioned unique to each accommodation & space for a cumulative and prescribed effect.
REGIONALLY-BASED ATTRACTIONS
Adventures and events specific to each location and country, often led by naturalists, teachers, and healers, provide a meaningful connection to the Power of Place. Late afternoon information events provide information for the following day’s outings. We are not simply interested in taking photos. The ecology, biospheres, and indigenous cultures have plenty to teach.
SUSTAINABILITY
We do not measure performance against a single bottom line standard. Our model is different because it reintroduces indigenous life instead of replacing it with something else. It sustains indigenous life through honorable use of the place, indigenous knowledge, and educating visitors on how to use it. We answer the question, “how does a traveler use indigenous knowledge,” it is not always something one can photograph. Our Resorts are recognized as leaders in Responsible Tourism.
The Experience:
AUTHENTIC.
LIVE IT.

AUTHENTIC
The power of Resource for Life is its grounding in authenticity. Often an over-used term, authenticity demands a direct connection to culture, art, architecture, and intention. With interactive community-building involvement and engagement, we actively pursue new ways to weave ourselves into the fabric of our neighborhoods.
OMOTENASHI
A Japanese term for totally empowered anticipatory honest service rendered without pretentiousness or expectation of thanks.
LIVING MUSEUM ®
Instead of a patchwork of discrete elements managed in isolation, the Harmony Project’s Living-Museum adopts a holistic approach. It simultaneously conserves and sustainably develops the tangible and intangible heritage. The indigenous people are a repository of tangible and intangible heritage interpreted through the Living-Museum experience.
A harmonic balance of Adventure, Art In Life, A Sense of History, and A Sense of Place are interwoven to create a Living Museum.
DESIGN
Form follows emotion. Facility, activity, and emotion are aligned to make an experiential product. The design of our facilities does not overshadow the experience. It enhances it. Every space tells a unified story or lesson through commissioned fine art, grounding you in the sense of place. Our designs celebrate the inherent spirit of the local culture with authentic materials, construction, even technology. Accommodations are built for extended stays and multiple activities and moods. We find travelers don’t want to check out.
